Artist Statement

 

Most of my works are based on western comics and eastern manga. My overall vision for this project is to show the whimsical side of the historical place known as Columbia. My technique involves researching the character’s background, status, connections. Then illustrate how this information applies to the time period and fits in the overall story.  My work progress will utilize historical references to create a work that the audience will be able to connect to history and better understand and appreciate Columbia’s past.

 

Biography

 

Milira L. Glenn has been a freelance digital illustrator for five years. Her passion for drawing started at an early age and expanded to sketching characters from fantasy and mythological stories in mid-eastern culture.
